In October, we discovered a ropes course

Sometimes having a little brother around can cramp a 5-year-old's style. So, once a month(ish), one of us takes Dietrich out on a special date. To kick this tradition off, I took him to the restaurant that Eric and I usually go to when we have a special grown-up date.



With me, he got to eat a lot of ice cream with hot chocolate on the side.
