The daily Max

October 6, 2013
Mama and I grabbed one last bagel.

I wore really cute shoes to church, and socks on my hands to keep me from scratching. Daddy is a better manicurist than Mama, and he's far away.

Daddy wore this shirt, 40 years ago.

I snoozed on Mama.

We went on a nostalgia tour of Baba and Papa's property. We said good-bye to the animals.

And to the trailer where Mama grew me.

And to our car. Mama says it's been a real treat to have a car. Evidently, I'll soon be riding exclusively in a stroller.

 I got a present!

It's a cozy blanket that matches the curtains in my room in Ukraine. Thanks, mama's friend Amanda!

I melt Mama's heart.

The daily Max

October 5, 2013

Hung out in my happy place, under the heat lamp in Baba and Papa's bathroom.

My nursing blister popped!

Soaked up some sunshine with mama. I hear it's cold enough to snow where my big brothers are.

Oh, all that Vitamin D is making me tired.

I'm a sweet little snugglebug.

The daily Max

October 3, 2013

A sweet, smooshy face to greet the day.

 Streeeeetch!

Mama used to have to fold these newborn diapers down so that they wouldn't cover my belly button. Now they're nearly too small. We're going on a field trip tomorrow to buy me Size 1.

Watching the ball game with Papa.

Can't keep my eyes off of Baba.

The daily Max

October 2, 2013

Hung out while mama cleaned the car.

Went to fancy dinner with Baba. (We did other stuff, too, but mama forgot to take pictures.)

The daily Max

October 1, 2013
I was super snoozy in the morning.

But then I got to go hang out by the pool while mama hung up laundry.

Contemplating the water.

Then we drove over the hill to meet mama's great Aunt Connie. She is so wonderful! I spent most of the visit being cuddled by her very sweet, 11-year-old granddaughters.

Look, a picture of mama and me that's not a selfie!

The daily Max

September 30, 2013

 I woke up.

Then I did tummy time for the first time.

 It was exhausting!

My tummy isn't healing quite right, so I went to see Dr. Ahamann.

He put silver nitrate on my belly button to cauterize it, so now it's kinda shiny.

I made some funny faces.

I snoozed in the sunshine.

And I rested long enough to let mama finish Harvest Heartbeat. I'm such a helpful baby!
