Dietrich has been hearing Russian regularly for three weeks now, and while he doesn't say much, he doesn't regularly complain about not understanding the people around him.
However, at church this morning, every time someone spoke Russian to him, he responded by meowing. Like a cat. Evidently "feline" is the universal language.

That is just hilarious.
That makes me laugh... Kylah used to tell me that she spoke cat. He is so wonderful and we miss him! Hey guess what... I got a new laptop with a webcam... we set up skype... do you wanna skype with us? Haven't done it yet, so not sure how to but we'll figure it out if you want to. :)

We just took a 2-day boat trip with a German family. Their 8-year-old daughter only meowed and hissed, even to the other Germans. If Dietrich is only "speaking cat" by the time he's 8, you may want to arrange a marriage with the German girl. Just a thought...
